Recent Updates From Lori Rothfeld
Last updated | Wednesday March 26, 2025

I view psychotherapy as a collaborative approach between the client and the therapist, where we work together on your therapeutic goals to reach greater awareness and personal growth. I work with pre-teens, adolescents, and emerging adults, dealing with social and academic stressors, anxiety, panic attacks, depression, self-esteem, and trauma. I also work with adults in these areas and in the areas of life changes. I provide psychoeducational support for families with children with developmental differences, acute and chronic illnesses, and co-parenting issues.
As a former attorney, I have significant experience helping clients through challenging times. I work from a person-centered, mindfulness-based, and trauma-informed framework. I apply CBT and ACT skills to assist clients in building social skills, managing anxiety, decreasing negative thinking, and changing through their own motivations.
Successful psychotherapy can have far-reaching benefits, providing a unique opportunity to make lasting changes leading to a richer, more fulfilling life. I welcome the opportunity to work with you to add more joy to your daily life, and increase insight, healing, and self-empowerment and look forward to hearing from you!
