Recent Updates From Josh Madden
Last updated | Tuesday February 18, 2025

In the words of Walt Whitman, via Ted Lasso, "Be curious, not judgemental." These words are great advice as we interact with others in our life, but even more true when we are addressing our inner world. To accomplish this, I strive to curate an empathic and safe environment to discover the confusing and painful parts of your life. I will provide a collaborative experience toward self-reflection and self-understanding. We will venture into the power of self-compassion by facing those places where we feel like we are not enough.
I specialize in working with adults, teenagers, and families through the pain of depression, anxiety, grief, and concerns regarding religious trauma, relationship/marital conflict, and trauma. I desire for every individual to know they are loved unconditionally so I look forward to hearing from you to start on your journey of healing.
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Kansas and a Nationally Certified Counselor. I have come to understand that everyone heals differently, therefore, I use an integrative approach to discover what healing looks like for each individual. We will explore our emotions, the defenses that arise, and how to explore those as keys to healing.
