Recent Updates From Joy Wymer
Last updated | Thursday October 10, 2024
My goal is to help you accurately assess your strengths and weaknesses and to help you better succeed in life. I specialize in neuropsychological, psychological, and psycho-educational evaluation for children, adolescents, and adults. These evaluations provide an objective measure of a person's strengths and weaknesses and will help determine why you are having problems and what can be done. Evaluation results are used to help plan your treatment and will be used by your other doctors to ensure that you are receiving appropriate treatments. Results will also give you information on what you can expect for the future.
I routinely work with people with brain injury, stroke, Alzheimer's disease, memory loss, seizures, chemical exposure, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), learning disabilities, developmental disorders, Autism/Asperger's disorder, mental retardation, and social or emotional problems.
While considering a psychological or neuropsychological evaluation can be daunting, my goal is to help you feel comfortable and at ease while gathering as much information as possible. We keep a relaxed office environment and always work at your pace.
