I work with adults who identify with an ethnic minority group who may have difficulty regulating emotions, experiencing symptoms of stress or trauma, or impacted by addiction. I enjoy helping clients learn emotion regulation skills, understand how to strengthen the mind-body connection, and learn how to cope with distress through a holistic and culturally appropriate lens. I want to help clients learn how to improve their quality of life and overall mental health. I also enjoy providing education about mental health and practical ways you can take care of yourself.
My treatment approach is holistic, collaborative, and grounded in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness.
