Recent Updates From Lindsey Brown
Last updated | Thursday October 10, 2024

I am a licensed psychologist with over 10 years of experience providing therapy. Many people I work with come to therapy because they've experienced an overwhelming life event that is impacting them negatively, they feel stuck in patterns of thinking, feeling, or relating to others that are not serving them well, or they are struggling to adjust to a new life circumstance. Therapy is an opportunity to grow into a different kind of relationship with yourself and others, develop new understanding about past and present experiences, and practice more effective approaches to problems in your life.
I use an individualized, evidence-based, collaborative approach to working with clients. Together we will work to understand your goals, how they fit in your life context, and what gets in the way of moving toward them. Through our work I can offer helpful tools for responding to difficult emotions, improving relationships, and living a more meaningful life.
Finding the right therapist and starting therapy can be challenging and anxiety-provoking. I invite you to reach out for a free initial consultation to get to know me, and see if we would be a good fit for working toward your therapy goals. Best of luck!
