Recent Updates From Lisa A.
Last updated | Monday February 17, 2025

As a licensed therapist, I work from a Christian perspective integrating faith and positive change. My practice, Hope for the Future Christian Counseling, LLC, is located in Georgetown, SC at 2501 North Fraser Street. I believe we are made in the image of God and that he loves us all. Because of that belief, I take a holistic approach that includes body, mind, and soul; however, I allow the client to set the pace and determine whether or not they want to include faith aspects in our work together. I am trained in EMDR therapy and often integrate emotion focused therapy and attachment therapy in my work.

I see individuals of all ages, couples, and families. Our work together will include traditional therapy as well as guided imagery, relaxation techniques, art, journaling, or sand tray work when applicable. My experience includes trauma, grief/loss, depression, anxiety, physical illness, relationship conflicts/growth, transitions, and personal growth.
I believe it is imperative that a client and counselor are able to establish good rapport; give me a call and we can talk about your counseling needs. I look forward to working together.
