Recent Updates From Michael Lotz
Last updated | Thursday October 10, 2024
I am guided by an interpersonal and emotion-focused approach to therapy. I strive to create a safe, genuine, and authentic client and therapist relationship, which I believe to be essential to fostering a trusting environment that is necessary for healing and long-term change. I have a particular passion for helping individuals learn ways to manage their trauma-related symptoms, make sense of unresolved family-of-origin concerns, process difficult emotions surrounding grief and loss, improve relationships, and find meaning in important life transitions.
Michael completed his doctoral degree from Purdue University in 2022. His training has prepared him to work with a variety of presenting concerns such as depression, anxiety, grief and loss, family-of-origin concerns, and trauma-related symptoms. Dr. Lotz has experience working with adults, adolescents, and children.
If you'd like a therapy experience filled with mutual respect and a deepening understanding of your emotional experience free from judgment, I invite you to reach out and we'll figure out together if we'll be a good fit for therapy. I look forward to hearing from you!
