As a School Psychologist/Licensed Psycho-Educational Specialist I have extensive training and experience working with children and adolescents that struggle with learning, emotion, and social skills. Early identification and remediation of lagging skills are associated with greater academic success, improved interpersonal relationships, higher earnings, greater employment stability, and lower likelihood of involvement with the criminal justice system (Aos, Lieb, Mayfield, Miller, & Pennucci, 2004).

Every child is different which often makes remediation difficult and frustrating; therefore I work from a Biopsychosocial Model. This perspective entails collaborating with family, Physicians, and schools in a problem-solving process. Each entity is equally important as the respective contributes are very specific but come together to help us understand the whole child.
