Sometimes we get stuck. Whether it’s a feeling that life is going well, but could be better, or more a debilitating issue such as trauma, anxiety, or depression preventing you from reaching your goals. My passion is empowering children, adults, and families to identify, and cultivate their strengths so they can move forward again with the skills to heal themselves, heal their relationships, and reach their full potential.
No one approach is right for everyone so I have received training in several different therapeutic modalities. If you are struggling with addiction try Motivational Interviewing. If you are needing a big breakthrough after suffering from trauma or PTSD, try Accelerated Resolution Therapy.
My educational background includes a BA from West Virginia University in Sociology and Anthropology, an MA in Sociology from Indiana University, and an MSW from University of North Carolina Wilmington. I hold certificates for Gestalt Therapy, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, and EAGALA Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Learning.
