Recent Updates From Rachael Dingman
Last updated | Tuesday October 22, 2024
Hi! My name is Rachael. I started my practice last year and I have loved seeing clients via telehealth. I know that starting therapy can feel awkward and that "therapy" can be a dirty word for a lot of people. I have a way of connecting with teens and adults that ease that awkwardness. I'm extremely authentic and use humor in sessions often. I have a Graduate Certificate in Trauma and used a Trauma-Based approach with every one of my clients.
I've worked in schools, homeless shelters, DV shelters, summer camps, country clubs, and private practices. My most valuable experience though is my "Lived Experiences". We have all been through something that has affected us and therapists are not immune to that. I have personal experience with how substance abuse can hurt families and how domestic violence can affect a home. Clients in the past have appreciated when I say "I get it", that I really do.
