I founded Blue Blazer Counseling in 2018 after some arm-twisting from a client. My motivation was I wanted the freedom to work my way with minimal obstacles between my client and me. Getting rid of the unnecessary interference of insurance companies was one goal. Being able to focus my attention and specialize on populations that were interesting to me was another. Finally, I wanted the freedom to travel and live. Life is so much more than working and paying bills. So, now I offer teletherapy services to folks in California, and my specialties are couples and gender-affirming care. The work has been challenging and rewarding!
