Profile

I specialize in working with the queer and trans community, especially those who’s identities fall across multiple intersections. I work with individuals (14+) struggling with issues related to attachment trauma, gender identity exploration, executive dysfunction, racial identity exploration and surviving/thriving while living in systems of oppression. I also offer relationship counseling for couples, polycules and other relational dynamics (18+) struggling with issues of connection, trust, and sexual intimacy.
I practice from a somatic (body focused) perspective, drawing from attachment theory, interpersonal neurobiology and mindfulness practices. I draw much of my philosophy concerning gender and sexuality from queer theory which historically challenges normative society, established traditions, and binary or definitive constructs.
I often say therapy isn't always easy or perfectly safe (we are all human), but it can be SECURE. Together, it is my hope that we can create a space filled with trust, security and respect so that you can dive into your healing journey and begin to live by your values.
