Emotional pain is a beacon that something in our lives needs to change. Therapy helps, and doesn’t have to be painful or intimidating. I am aware that what you share may be very personal or may feel shameful. I'm here to help you connect with parts of yourself that we are often given very little information about (sexual health), and I invite you to share these difficult feelings in a safe space.
My clinical focus is mainly sex therapy, women's low sexual desire & sexual pain. I also run groups for these concerns (see below). I can help you learn to manage unwanted pornography viewing, fixed erotic interests (fetishes), sexless marriages and affairs. I treat anxiety, depression, grief, pet loss, and general life 'issues' that make daily living hard.
I specialize in using a values-based approach. I also work with conflicts related to faith/belief systems, and mixed-faith marriages. I am an AASECT certified sex therapist. AASECT certified Sex Therapists use specialized clinical skills and theoretical knowledge to help people solve their sexual concerns. NOTE: Sex therapy does NOT include physical touch.
