Living in a neurotypical world with a neurodivergent brain is hard. It feels like pushing a boulder up a hill - only it doesn't matter how far up the hill you get, you always end up back at the bottom, watching other people push their boulders up, seemingly with ease. Parenting while neurodivergent or parenting a neurodivergent child can feel the same way. It's important to know that you aren't alone and there isn't something wrong with you.
My goal is to offer a safe, neurodivergent affirming environment where you can learn about how the brain functions & how you can use that knowledge to build functional skills and practices that work best for you. My role is to function as a facilitator in the growth and learning process by using a therapeutic lens and approaches during my time with clients.
During our time together, you as the client are in the drivers seat. My goal is for you to learn skills necessary to function at school/work, and with those you love in ways that are authentic, meaningful, and successful for you. You determine the goals of our time together. My role is to help design our time together to get you where you want to be.
