Profile

My approach is interpersonal, both psychodynamically and existentially informed. I have been in practice for over 20 years. In my early years, I was supervised by Dr. Irvin Yalom, and he has been highly influential in my work. I believe my strengths include an ability to genuinely connect with patients in an empathic and non-judgmental manner. I help my patients explore deeper issues and patterns underlying persistent unhappiness, as well as navigate life's hurdles that may feel overwhelming.
I work with a wide variety of adult patients, including those who are experiencing ongoing anxiety and depression, and others who are dealing with major decisions, life transitions, loss, and relationship issues.
B.A. English Literature, University of California at Berkeley M.A. Psychology, Ph.D. Clinical Psychology, The Wright Institute
