Recent Updates From Margaret Brice
Last updated | Tuesday February 18, 2025

I work primarily with individual adults and couples who are experiencing difficulties ranging from major mental illness to situational problems that are interferring with their daily living. My work with clients is designed to determine the most effective approach to assist them in reaching their goals in developing a healthy and satisfying life. I am experienced in working with individuals with mood disorders, anxiety disorders and substance abuse. In couple's therapy I address communication patterns that cause roadblocks to the couple's ability to build a healthy and close relationship.
I use a psychodynamic approach combined with a behavioral approach in order to address relationship issues as well as individual personal problems for clients to reach a level of confidence and individuality that will enhance their growth and self esteem.
The techniques I use can assist my clients in learning new skills in emotion regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, mindfulness and distress tolerance. These skills are important for individuals as well as couples in day to day living.
