Jacob offers insight-oriented psychotherapy for those looking to expand their understanding of themselves and their relationships. Jacob also provides treatment for difficult emotions, anxiety, depression, trauma, relational and family challenges, as well as working with parents to improve and deepen their relationship with their children. Jacob’s approach to psychotherapy is both warmly collaborative and challenging. The therapeutic relationship is one of the most significant factors in therapy and it’s built on trust, consistency, transparency, and safety. The first few sessions will be about building trust, creating a plan, and then together, exploring the challenges in your life. Taking the first step toward healing can feel daunting. Much of therapy is slowing down to reflect on ourselves to understand our experiences, work through painful feelings, and create new meaning in our lives.
