Life these days can be tough. Whether it's a global pandemic, feeling depressed, or experiencing burnout, therapy can be a great tool for getting through those challenging times in life. I work with teens & adults struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, perfectionism, and more. I also specialize in working with emotionally sensitive people and supporting them in validating their experience and navigating a society that doesn't often value emotions. I am committed to lifelong education & consultation to grow, learn, and provide sex-positive, anti-racist, LGBTQIA+ affirming, & trauma-informed therapy. I incorporate a variety of evidence-based practices in order to support clients in reaching their goals, such as ACT, CBT, and DBT-informed therapy. A session with me might include learning some coping skills, challenging unhelpful thought patterns, laughter & humor, and a collaborative, nonjudgmental space to process and experience your emotions. I was drawn to this field after my own experience with mental health and therapy. As a person with lived experience, I understand how hard it can be to reach out and show up to therapy. I commit to showing up authentically to meet you where you're at. If you're considering therapy, I encourage you to call, and I look forward to chatting with you!
