I am a skilled therapist who helps clients manage and overcome life's challenges with a gentle, interactive approach. I work with individuals of all ages and ethnicities, married and pre-married couples, families, individuals and mental disabilities. I have actively counseled since 2003, and has received training in several areas including grief, anxiety and depression. I received a BA in Physical Education at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and he received his MA in Community Counseling at Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Experience comes from providing counseling to at-risk youth with depression, anxiety, physical, emotional and sexual abuse, discipline issues, attention deficit disorder, family dysfunction, substance abuse and aggressive behaviors. I work from a variety of approaches including cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused therapy, within a faith-based framework. At Ascent Counseling Services, I serve the state of Wisconsin and Brevard County, FL by providing a safe place for individuals, couples, and families to come with life's difficulties. I am committed to providing compassionate, confidential clinical care to those who come to us.
