My goal in therapy is to help clients grow and connect with their most authentic selves. I am passionate about working with people experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, self-esteem challenges, and life transitions. As a queer and nonbinary person, I am uniquely tuned into the needs of gender expansive individuals and am very passionate about working with LGBTQ+ people. Finding a therapist that you don't have to explain your identity to can be challenging. I am someone who intimately understands and can provide specialized care. I am student at the University of Central Florida's online Master of Social Work program, and previously studied at Kennesaw State University, where I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. I also interned at Kate's Club, a community nonprofit for children, teens, their families, and young adults who have experienced the death of someone close to them. I work to make people feel comfortable and safe in our sessions. I lean towards cognitive-based, somatic, and mindfulness-based interventions. Please call or email me to start the process!

I want to say thank you for viewing my profile. I do not know what it is that you may be struggling with, but I know that I have a genuine and heartfelt passion to help you become a better version of yourself. While I can not guarantee you that I can help you completely with whatever you are struggling with, I certainly want to listen. I have tirelessly spent the past 10 years of my life dedicated to the service of others and trying to help everyone that I have come in contact with whether they struggle with depression, anxiety, career choices, grief, life coaching, marital and relationship struggles, finding purpose, or PTSD. I have helped hundreds of individuals, couples and families for the past ten years overcoming the challenges that life often times presents us. I take a practical and genuine approach to therapy that involved coming to understand both what your problems are and coming up with practical solutions to overcoming the challenges you are encountering. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions you may have. I have a website dedicated to my practice and I am always available by email to answer any questions you may have about therapy, the therapeutic process, or insurance. I am here to help and I am here to listen!

I am a licensed psychologist who has spent the last 30 years helping people transform their lives. Using a multi-faceted approach, therapy is tailored to the needs of the person or family, in order to bring the most meaningful and lasting change. I offer support, compassion, practical techniques, and persistence in my work – along with a good dose of creativity and life wisdom. I specialize in therapy with teens and young adults aged 12-25, the parenting of young children, and couples and family therapy. In life, there are times when we feel strong, and other times when we feel broken. No matter what, it takes courage to face difficult questions about yourself, your partner, your family. My goal is to engender trust and partner with you to answer those questions and then find solutions. I view therapy as an open and collaborative process, and I am ready to help you make a difference in your own life. As David Richo says, “our wounds are often the openings into the best and most beautiful part of us.” I also am deeply committed to being an ally for people of color, indigenous peoples, and the LGBTQ community.
