The most amazing thing about therapy is that it gives us a chance to more fully understand ourselves and change things in our life. Having the space to talk about your thoughts, beliefs and emotions with someone who can be objective and compassionate is one of the most beneficial and healing things we can do for ourselves. If you are struggling with emotions, thoughts or beliefs that you know are holding you back from living with a sense of well-being, I would like to help. I provide a safe, compassionate, affirming space for you to explore and process your struggles so you can feel more peace and connection in your life. View 4 Photos I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and use a variety of trauma informed approaches to tailor treatment to the needs of each client. Most of all I respect that you are the expert on your own life. I will guide and support you in your reconnection with your inner wisdom. The challenges and stresses of life can seem dark and overwhelming at times. If you are struggling to find joy in your life right now, I would be honored to help light your path to healing.

Every person has the potential for growth. Yet, people can work very hard and not make progress. Old ineffective patterns, habits, even addictions, dominate and prevent happiness and growth. Hope can dwindle and lead many to believe they are broken or defective. There is hope! With extensive training and experience in treating trauma and addiction, I explore with you the reasons the patterns persist. I am invested in helping people understand themselves, as they build personal and relationship satisfaction. You can create a life, not simply existing, but full of creativity, connection and satisfaction. Working actively with compassion, I support my clients in their personal goals and visions, not telling people what to do, but helping them discover what they want, exploring how to move forward. Our work together can make your efforts worthwhile - removing barriers, increasing knowledge and implementing effective strategies. Send me an email to schedule. Although reaching out for help is difficult, your email will be an act of true self-care. Negativity and shame do not bring healing and most often we need a comforting supporter to help us see and interact with the world differently. You do not have to go through your challenges alone. Life can get better! Together we can explore solutions & pursue healing

As your therapist, my goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment which promotes individual healing and growth. I enjoy working with adults experiencing an array of concerns, which include, but are not limited to trauma, complex trauma, dissociation, anxiety and depressive symptoms, life transitions and stress. Through a trauma informed lens and mind-body approach, the therapeutic relationship involves supporting clients as they gain insight, explore and enhance relationships both internally and externally, which allows opportunity for long term growth and healing. View 4 Photos Although therapeutic goals are tailored to the individual needs and concerns of the client, I tend to incorporate an integrative, strengths-based approach to therapy. This most often includes the use of somatic, cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, mindfulness and systems strategies to engage and empower individuals working through various challenges. Attunement to individual client needs and concerns, as well as pacing and integrity are central to the way in which I practice. I truly enjoy this work, and I look forward to meeting with you
