I am trained in EMDR, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Family Systems Therapy. In addition, I understand well how the use of drugs and alcohol can affect you and your loved ones. I am passionate about helping others reach their goals by offering a safe environment where you can begin to find your way through difficult decisions, repair broken connections, or make new connections through individual, couples and family counseling. I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) as well as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) in the state of Iowa. I earned my undergraduate degree in social work from Dordt College, Sioux Center, IA, and my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Iowa. I provide counseling and psychotherapy to individuals as well as couples and families. I have a special interest in providing holistic care to resolve mental health issues.
