You just got into another fight with your son, and you feel terrible about it. All you wanted to do was talk, to tell him that you’re worried about him, but as usual, the conversation quickly devolved into another standstill. You feel so helpless watching him make the same mistakes over and over. Isolating himself, turning to harmful coping methods, hanging around the wrong people. You’re terrified that if he keeps going in this direction, he may never be able to dig himself out of it. As a parent, you only want him to be happy, but nothing you try seems to get through. And it feels like you’re running out of options. For over a decade, I’ve helped young men struggling with anger, fear, and depression. Using strengths- based tools like CBT, your son will learn to restructure his thoughts and regulate his emotions more easily. In a safe space, we’ll identify what’s standing in the way of his happiness and work to heal that part of him. Give your son the future he deserves. It's time to ease your worrying and get your son back on the right track. Provide him with the tools to live a healthier and happier life. Reopen the lines of communication and rebuild your relationship with one another. Don’t let this harmful cycle continue any longer. Help him reach his full potential. My mission as a counselor is to partner with each individual to achieve their highest level of wellness. I believe in the inherent wholeness of every person, the healing potential of a balanced mind/body connection, and identifying client’s strengths as a foundation to build a collaborative counseling relationship. Establishing a safe and trusting relationship will be prioritized while exploring areas/issues impeding you from your highest level of functioning. I bring a strong foundation to counseling having been a health care professional for over thirty years working as a registered nurse (RN). This experience has shaped who I am as a counselor and strengthens my resolve to embody compassion, respect, and acceptance in my interactions and relationships. I tailor counseling sessions to the unique needs of each individual, using mindfulness-based practices, cognitive behavioral interventions, resilience skills, and trauma focused therapies. I work collaboratively on the issues you identify as priorities and assist with setting mutual goals. I have experience working with individuals across the lifespan. I am a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner (CHTP), have led substance abuse groups using Dialectical Behavioral skills, and I have experience and training in EMDR.

Hi! I’m Paige. I am licensed in Idaho and Arizona (LCPC and LPC respectively). I work with clients aged 3 through adulthood. My strength-based nature is utilized to build rapport and a trusting relationship with my clients while empowering each client to progress towards their goals. I am a Clinical Certified Trauma Specialist and an LGBTQIA-informed practitioner. I continue to receive ongoing training on subjects such as trauma-informed care and counseling interventions with methods including CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), DBT (dialectical behavior therapy), Person-centered Therapy and Play Therapy. In addition to the things that are included in a traditional counselor’s toolbox, I am well versed and trained in trauma-informed care including sexual abuse, neglect, incest, and substance use. I am LGTBQIA+ informed and trained and often work with individuals that identify as transgender or are navigating their gender and sexual identities. Each person and path is unique. I honor the opportunity to walk with my clients as they participate in self-discovery and healing.
