From adolescents to aging adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, bi-polar, chronic pain/illness, life transitions, grief, trauma, PTSD and substance use disorders, we will partner together to find the best course of treatment on your terms. It is important to me that we build trust and cohesively create your treatment plan on a timeline that feels right for your needs. Building trust in our relationship is the cornerstone to successful treatment. I spend time getting to know you, your history and what you need today as we begin your healing process. I am a yoga instructor as well so in our first few sessions I introduce mindfulness coping skills that can be helpful in relieving your symptoms. With psychodynamic theory as my base, as we work together I will add on some different techniques that I think will be helpful for you such as CBT, ACT, DBT & CPT. Life is hard. Some days are better than others. It takes a lot of strength to reach out for help but suffering is optional. You don't have to wait any longer to feel better. Let's get you back in the driver's seat of your life.

We are all very capable of being happy. Sometimes loss, our environment or trauma can impact us to the point where we are no longer healthy or happy. I believe that we can be the healthiest version of ourselves with unconditional support. I love to empower my clients and give them the tools to improve their quality of life. I believe that we all struggle in life; being human is not a easy feat for many of us. I myself have struggled with many of the issues I specialize in, so I will do my best to get the core and to help you to heal yourself by strengthening your skills but will also do so with a very empathetic understanding. Anxiety, PTSD, Separation Anxiety, Depression, ADD/ADHD, Grief/Loss (also Loss of a Pet, Infertility), Eating Disorders, Parenting. I am a clinical therapist who specializes in working with clients of all ages. I have 19 years of experience doing therapy and over 26 years working with children and families. I utilize CBT. I will also work with you on how we can manifest symptoms through how we think and also being in unhealthy environments/relationships. I will give homework assignments and often prescribe techniques such as meditation, mindfulness and use positive psychology based tools to assist you in between sessions. I am also very spiritual.
