I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience in helping people with a variety of presenting problems. Are anxiety, depression, health or relationship issues making you feel "stuck" and keeping you from living the life you want right now? I work collaboratively with my clients building on already existing strengths to help reach the goals of behavioral and emotional growth. My approach is integrative, and I find using cognitive/behavioral and family/systems thinking to be most effective in helping my clients. Through training at the University of Chicago and the Family Institute, I'm able to help adolescents, adults, and families. My work at Northwestern Memorial Hospital's Eating Disorder Program, co-directing a program for overweight teens, and 19 year Assistant Director position at the Center for Behavioral Medicine guide my practice. Clients describe me as warm, interactive, confidential, and direct. My broad clinical and life experience contribute to making me the therapist that I am. I'm passionate about my work and would be happy to talk with you further. It would be a privilege to work with you.
