I have had extensive experience treating individuals suffering from anxiety and panic attacks, depression, adjustment and relationship problems, existential and spiritual issues, and chronic pain. I have done compassionate work with many individuals who have suffered experiences of deep grief and loss. I hold a BA in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Social Work from U of L. I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings. Currently, I have a private clinical practice where I provide psychotherapy and counseling services to adults over the age of 18. One mode of treatment I frequently utilize is Mindfulness Meditation for mood regulation, lowering anxiety, reducing or eliminating panic attacks and even managing chronic pain. I also work with insight-oriented methods, such as Internal Family Systems and Focusing-Oriented strategies, methods I've found to be very effective throughout my years in practice. I now offer teletherapy, allowing clients to receive services from home. If this is something you are interested in, I would be happy to speak with you about whether this might be the right choice for you.
