I do this work because I believe in people and I know they can change. My purpose as a therapist is to meet you wherever you are in your journey and create a safe, empowering space where we can work together as a team to move you closer toward your personal goals. This may mean processing past trauma, teaching you how to set better boundaries with people in your life, or helping you reframe your thinking about a current life change. My practice is focused on women who are often viewed as "too much" by others in their lives. I have extensive experience working with survivors of trauma, individuals experiencing anxiety, mood disorders, and relationship issues. I am also excited to offer supervision to individuals seeking clinical licensure! My approach is relational, supportive, and I love to laugh! If you are feeling skeptical about therapy, try having 2 sessions before making a decision either way. I primarily use EMDR and CBT to help you through your painful life memories to ease your symptoms of anxiety/depression/PTSD, etc., so you can begin to feel like yourself again. I would describe my intervention style as strength based with a focus on building rapport/connection.
