“Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.” As a bicultural, bilingual Latina I appreciate individual differences and approach clients with an understanding of and respect for the client's needs and cultural values. I have over 10 years of experience in the mental health field with children, adolescents and adults. My style is individualized to each person and their specific needs. I believe it is a team effort, and the best results come from having someone who is walking beside you through the process. I strive to create a space where those seeking therapy feel safe, heard and respected. I provide individual psychotherapy for a range of presenting concerns, from trauma, anxiety, depression and PTSD to tough life transitions and stressors. In a therapeutic relationship, we can collaborate to make mental health and wellness a priority in your commitment to self-care. Although reaching out for support can feel challenging, I urge you to see the strength in your vulnerability. You are choosing to take time for YOU and your emotional wellness. I am currently accepting new patients, please feel free to reach out. Currently only offering teletherapy.

Ever feel consumed by worry, anxiousness or a need to have it all figured out? Hoping for more balance while dealing with life's challenges? Or maybe you just need someone to vent to? I utilize a collaborative approach, providing a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to be able to openly express themselves and work through challenges that may be interfering with them reaching their goals. I seek to help clients better understand their circumstances, clarify their goals and values, notice/modify thought patterns as needed, and learn different techniques to use to better address concerns or challenges of note. I have a wide range of experience working with adults with various mental health challenges. My clinical approach is eclectic, integrating a range of evidence-based practice methods (cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance commitment therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness practices, etc). I offer flexible online scheduling with intermittent availability late mornings, afternoons and evenings Monday-Friday and every other Saturday morning (10AM-1PM). Please let me know if you'd like to arrange a 15 minute consultation to learn more.
