Megan has experience in working with clients with anxiety, depression, life transitions, mood disorders, personality disorders, post traumatic stress and more. She has worked in residential treatment for dual diagnosis, intensive outpatient and private practice. Megan uses a person centered approach, utlizing cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and dialectical behavioral therapy where appropriate. Megan in addition is an EMDR trained therapist. Megan utilizes EMDR as a tool to assist clients in processing traumatic and distressing events that can be difficult to access through talk therapy alone. Megan is passionate about making therapy an inclusive and emotionally safe space to grow.
