Life can be full of challenging emotions and difficult situations. As a strength-based counselor, my goal is to tailor therapeutic interventions to meet your specific needs. I offer a safe space, free of judgement, where you can process your hurts, difficult relationships, insecurities, anger and worries. I am proactive in my approach and want to work with you to help you achieve your daily, short and long term goals. I partner with adults, parents (especially new moms!) and teens who feel stuck in depression, anger, anxiety, shame, guilt or grief. I use experiential and cognitive behavioral approaches based on client preferences. I see therapy as a micro “real world ” where we can work through attachment trauma, insecurities, shame, guilt, hurt, anger and more I have experience working with and valuing a variety of people of different faiths and world views. I work collaboratively with my clients to develop goals and a path forward. Give my office a call, or request an appointment on our website!

Hello I’m Mayghen (she/her) and I am a Limited License Master of Social Work (LLMSW). My experience includes over 4 years of working with children, adolescents, and families. I believe providing a safe space without judgment is important to healing. I provide that along with active listening, empathy, and validation. I believe that everyone brings their own strengths and life experiences to the table. Using these, to help foster the therapeutic relationship, I believe individuals are able to achieve and maintain their goals. I have experience treating individuals with depression, trauma, ADHD, anger, anxiety, and emotional dysregulation. I also have experience working with members of the LGBTQA community. Interventions I use include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF CBT). I believe in a person centered and strength based approach to provide a respectful, compassionate, and trusting environment for self-exploration. Currently I am accepting children (over the age of 10), teens and adults. At this time, I am only providing Tele-health appointments. I look forward to meeting you and helping you through your healing process.
