Christine Rice (She / Her) Every person who enters my office comes with their own unique history, identity, strengths and therapy goals. With this focus, I employ a variety of therapeutic approaches including existential therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and the Gottman Method so I can tailor our sessions to your needs. In our sessions, I will use compassion and unconditional positive regard to create a space where you can bring your whole self. I welcome all clients (both couples and individuals). I specialize in adults dealing with trauma, depression and anxiety and I am EMDR trained. In our first session, we will discuss your presenting issues, history, health, my role as a therapist and your goals for therapy. As we work together, we will identify causes, patterns, behaviors, and systems that may be contributing to your presenting issues. I am a queer, trans-inclusive intersectional feminist and this ethos underpins my therapeutic practice. I welcome all members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
