ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS via Telehealth! I enjoy working with clients as they gain insight into their struggles so they can identify healthy tools to overcome those struggles. My clients will encounter a non-judgmental and caring environment that promotes growth, healing and empowerment. Because everyone comes to therapy with unique challenges and values, I use an individualized approach to meet clients' specific needs, incorporating research-based strategies that draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction approach. I have extensive experience providing specialized counseling services to individuals or families who are experiencing depression, anxiety, sexual trauma, intimacy and women's health issues, relationship and parenting challenges, anger management, mild traumatic brain injury, and adolescents who have been diagnosed with ADHD, ODD, and Conduct Disorder. Because the decision to seek help is not easy, I like to make the scheduling process simple. I offer flexible scheduling; including evening and weekend appointments, and I typically schedule appointments for new clients in one week or less.

I am currently only accepting new patients for testing, not therapy. An important aspect of my practice is creating a space that allows us to explore the obstacles people face and develop tools to remove them. My primary focus is neuropsychological assessment for individuals struggling with a spectrum of concerns, including ADHD, Autism, and dementia. I am certified by the ACBIS and Brain Injury Association of America as a Brain Injury Specialist and work closely with other providers to ensure that all aspects of a person's health are addressed. I have also been certified by IBCCES as an Autism Specialist. I also have extensive experience in sitting with individuals who are seeking to understand and cope with life, who may also be struggling with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, or chronic pain. I also focus on multiple areas of child psychology, including ADHD, anxiety, behavioral issues, self-esteem difficulties, and peer relationships. My assessments and treatment take an integrated and person centered approach to assist a person's healthcare or academic team in developing and achieving the individual's goals. I welcome individuals of any race, ethnicity, age, gender, or sexual identity. Results from evaluations are typically prepared within the two weeks following the assessment.

Cultures are tricky even when we live in the same country. Do you feel it's difficult to be fully understood? Do you feel 'conflict with others' happen often? Sometimes, we feel lonely, lost, and discouraged when going through life transitions, good or bad. Transition could be a divorce, a loss of a loved one, a new cultural/sexual identity, or even an exciting new job. You don’t have to go through those transitions alone. Therapy is a safe space for you to explore the complex emotions that come with those changes. I take an integrative approach in helping my clients realize their own potential to achieve wellness. Knowing Cantonese and Mandarin, it allows me to understand my client's perspective from their own native language. I am also trained in EMDR therapy that has shown significant results especially with trauma and PTSD. As a Wellness Counselor, my goal is to educate, support and empower my clients. I aspire to create a safe space where we can explore values, set goals, and implement plans. It would be my pleasure to work along side you to be your supporter.
