I love counseling and working with clients to get over those questions and that need a safe space to express their thoughts and feelings. The therapy session is a special place to take risks, say things we want to say, say things we are embarrassed to say, and say things we have never said before. Saying these things can lead to monumental gains in self-worth. Social anxiety, depression, peer conflict, among many other challenges face us each day and I am open to listening and assisting with whatever you would like to improve upon. I work with stress, anxiety, and depression. Life can be hard, and therapy can be a great assist to working in and out of those tough spaces. Clients find therapy a safe place to say things in a non-judgemental space. Much like the gym, walking through the doors is often the hardest part.

You are strong and courageous to not only acknowledge that change is needed but to take the steps to achieve it. Change is hard, especially when you are uncertain of who to trust to walk with you through the process. I believe that everyone has the ability to make changes if only they are provided with a nurturing and empowering environment that fosters strengths, passions and builds hope for the future. You deserve to be heard, understood and acknowledged while expecting a therapist who is honest, genuine, comfortable sharing observations and insights and challenges exploration and growth with compassion and without judgement. You may be thinking "what if therapy doesn't help" or "no one will understand me" or "I don't know how therapy could possibly change my situation". I am here to help and consider it an honor to be a part of your journey. With over 20 years of experience, I use an integrative approach that takes into account each individual's unique needs. I believe in creatively leveraging strengths to promote growth. We will collaborate to learn new ways to cope with life and grief and create the change you are seeking. I work with adolescents and adults with symptoms related to depression, anxiety, PTSD and trauma, including traumatic grief. I am a Certified Master ART Practitioner and a CCTP.
