I have two primary specialities: ADHD Coaching and Couples/Family Therapy. I work with highschoolers, college students, and adult professionals, who struggle with distraction, disorganization, procrastination, and impulsivity. My ideal Couple/Family struggles with communication, trust, and intimacy. Attempts to 'fix it' have failed. Past hurt keeps getting in the way. Our goal will be to ensure that the needs of each person (and some wants) are being continually met. Emotional safety, mutual respect, fearless honesty, and unwavering integrity are feasible as a united front. Your life can improve, even when it seems like you've tried over and over again. Therapy can help with small changes and drastic overhalls. I see it all the time. It starts with an initial session to dig in and build a game plan. Then we get to work. I'll be there every step of the way.

I am accepting new clients right now for both Telehealth and in-person sessions. Look forward to working with you! Reach out-https://arttherapymissouri.mytheranest.com/account/signup I find the most joy working with individuals who take an active role in their healing journey by engaging collaboratively with me in the counseling process. I believe all people have an innate capacity for growth and positive change. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Board-Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC) I use a dual approach to figure out if verbal counseling alone, art therapy or blend of both is appropriate. No prior artistic experience is necessary. Regardless of age, art interventions can help individuals increase insight, express and/or contain difficult feelings. I practice compassion by being an emphatic and non-judgmental listener. I am softly direct, interactive, honest and kind. I invite you to reach out today for a free consultation or to schedule your first session on my website. I look forward to working with you!

My ideal client is an adult, couple, or family that has experienced loss or trauma and wants to feel connected to themselves, those they love, and their community again. The individual/s may be experiencing extreme anxiety, irritability, or depression and have been trying to keep picking themselves up, but are tired and concerned about what their future holds. They often find themselves using a variety of means to numb such as eating, substance use, gambling, pornography, sex, video games, etc. They experience emptiness and feel that they really have no sense of who they are or what they want and often feel alone and disconnected. View 5 Photos I offer trauma informed interventions which require a focus on stabilization and strengthening coping skills before moving into trauma processing. I have a tool box of trauma specific treatments to select from collaboratively based on each unique person, couple, or family. I integrate embodiment or somatic exercise and expressive arts for those interested. Your pain is real and you probably won't just "get over it, " as some in your life may have suggested. The first step to lasting change is reaching out and asking for help. I am here to offer my experience and skills to meet you where you are in your life. If you can see it, you don't have to be it!
