I feel I am a different kind of counselor, because there is not a sense of separation between client and counselor. Clients are often impressed with how quickly times goes in session, they explain, "it's like talking to a good friend", "you make me feel so comfortable and not judged". We still get the work done just as effectively, but prepare to feel more relaxed....our offices are homey and comfortable. We kick our feet up on a coffee table, and chat in a way that allows people to feel more like talking to a friend than a stranger. Certain people come into our lives for a reason. I believe the clients I work with have as much as a role coming into my life and teaching me something....as I do theirs. If it is meant to be that we cross paths, we will. All counselors at Chrysalis are super special, Clients are assigned to a counselor after a phone call with Chrysalis, and we determine the best fit. We have male & female counselors. We are a NH IDCMP/DWI program and we also specialize in Addictions, Mental Health, Evaluations, License Reinstatement , Anger Management, Veterans and DUI/DWI clients.

Utilizing EEG biofeedback (neurofeedback), therapeutic music and hypnosis, we have a creative approach to individualize a treatment plan for every client. Our practice consists of both children and adults. Primarily the children come to work on ADD/ADHD or autistic spectrum disorders. The adults come for an array of issues: anxiety, depression, migraines, chronic pain and sleep problems. In addition, we work with clients for peak performance, i.e., eradicating barriers from even higher executive, academic, athletic or artistic excellence. We do very little 'talk therapy'. Instead, we obtain tremendous results with the aforementioned methodologies: Tomatis auditory training with Enlisten and Integrated Listening (iLs), ISF neurofeedback, NeuroField (pEMF training), LENS, z-score training, QEEG (brainmapping), pRoshi phototherapy, HEG (hemoencephalography), Vielight and photonic light. We represent a variety of backgrounds in our practice ranging from pastoral counseling, conventional talk therapy, experience in the computer industry to performing as professional musicians. Nearly all our protocols are dependent upon technology. We're walking distance to the Central Square T in Cambridge and near the State House in Concord. Parking is available.

With over 15 years of experience in the clinical field, I've had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients: preteens, teens, adults of all ages, both men and women, couples, and families. My core belief is that every individual possesses a unique narrative, a tapestry of experiences, emotions, and desires that shape their aspirations for life. Whether you seek a compassionate ear to share your thoughts, to process life-changing events, to discover a deeper sense of self and happiness, or to navigate the complexities of relationships, I'm committed to guiding you towards greater well-being and happiness. From better relationships, to self-improvement, stress management to life transitions, I'm here to support your path to happiness. I've worked with adolescents through school and emotional challenges, guided college students through self-discovery, and helped adults of all ages, with various challenges of their own and couples with diverse complexities. It's common to feel that you can tackle your challenges alone or that they may not warrant professional help. But remember, no issue is too insignificant, and early attention can prevent them from growing into larger concerns. And if they have become larger concerns, let's get them to a more manageable level. Whenever you're ready, I'm here to lend a hand.

(I am currently doing only telehealth, due to the pandemic.) I have had the good fortune to have had the opportunity, the training, and the experience to work with a wide variety of presenting issues. My primary work is with major life transitions, and also with stress, anxiety, trauma, depression and dysfunctional family-of-origin issues. My focus is holistic. Holographic Memory Resolution (HMR) neutralizes the triggering effect of stored trauma, and does so without retraumatizing the individual. I use HMR when working with trauma. I also use Voice Dialogue, or Psychology of Selves, as a tool to increase clients' personal awareness and empowerment. I work with the whole individual, focusing on integrity and health on emotional, mental, physical and spiritual levels. We need to attend to all areas of being in our lives - from eating pure foods and caring for our bodies, to taking personal responsibility for our life path.

Therapy should be welcoming, warm, nonjudgmental, and it should feel safe. These are some of the things I'm focused on in the therapy room for my clients. I hope to provide you with the support you're looking for, from a real-life person who offers curiosity, humility, and understanding. I work with (but I am not limited to) mood disorders, anxiety, struggling couples, substance use and co-occuring (both substance use and mental health), and LGBTQ+ issues. People get better through relationships. I intend to take a collaborative and exploratory stance with you, as we get to know each other, problem solve together, and make the healthy adjustments you're looking for. I want to see all of my clients become the most authentic and happy person they can be. I understand the importance of building natural supports in your life. I understand how mood disorders like Bipolar or Depression, can get in the way of everyday life. I believe in collaboration with my clients, and offer a non-judgmental space to heal. If you want to improve on yourself or your relationships, reach out - I would love to meet you!
