My approach is straightforward. I listen closely to your story, so that, together, we can understand clearly what is happening. Next, we explore why it's happening in order to develop meaningful strategies to achieve your goals. Finally, we implement those strategies, revising as necessary, until your goals are met. I'm curious about what you do well. My insight can be helpful, but your strengths, talents, and growing edges will form the cornerstone of your healing process. I call it a success when I can help someone use their unique resources to become the person they want to be.

I work with adults and youth, couples, individuals and families. I focus on helping individuals as they seek knowledge about themselves and search for meaning in their relationships with others. I have worked extensively with couples in marital counseling, with families in conflict and with individuals dealing with the aftermath of trauma and abuse. In 1993 I received the M.Div from Princeton Theological Seminary and in 2008, I completed a Doctor of Ministry Degree at Andover Newton Theological School. I am a Fellow of the American Association of Pastoral Counselors and a Licensed Pastoral Psychotherapist in the State of New Hampshire.

I provide therapeutic services to individuals, couples and families. I have over ten years experience working with family/couple conflict, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief/loss and parenting challenges. I also bring experience working with child and adolescent behavior problems, attachment, mood disorders and couple communication. I view problems and their solutions as interpersonal and relational and use a collaborative, goal-oriented therapeutic and support treatment approach to help clients improve relationships and expand their potential to resolve current and future problems. We have training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Informed, and many other types of therapeutic approaches. A therapist should never be one that judges you, makes you feel less than when you walked in, or lead from their own agenda. I like to provide a warm and inviting atmosphere when you come to my office. Soft lighting, comfortable seating, and a relaxed feeling as if you were at home in your living room. I see people for individual, couples/marital, and family therapy. I treat anxiety, depression, PTSD, anger management, and life stage transitions such as high school/college graduation, retirement, and early exit from the workforce due to disability. My work hours are M-F from 12-8 pm, 7 pm is my last appointment time of the day. Please note, I do not see children under the age of 13. View 9 Photos My main treatment focus is cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and learning effective communication and problem solving skills. Please note - I do not do free consultations. If you come to see me, your insurance will be charged or you will need to pay for the visit out of pocket if you do not have insurance. I am not a provider for MassHealth (in Massachusetts). Also, I do not do court-ordered anger management evaluations, Social Security Disability determinations, Worker's Comp, return to work assessments, or any kind of psychological assessments. As of June 2022, I will no longer be accepting Unicare, Tufts, or Cigna clients.
