Everyone deserves a safe, nurturing, therapeutic space to work through life’s challenges. I am a Licensed Associate Counselor who is passionate about supporting individuals who wish to overcome hardships and make meaningful progress. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental, and contemplative environment for clients to explore and heal. I work with children, adolescents, and young adults struggling to manage the stress of daily life and those experiencing challenges stemming from trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationships, and life transitions. I have specialized training in Sandplay and EMDR therapies. I utilize an integrative, evidence-based, and individualized approach to treatment and incorporate Sandplay Therapy and EMDR in sessions to help clients achieve insight and find relief from trauma memories. I also believe that all clients bring their own unique and essential skills to the therapeutic process. I will work with you to support the processing of and healing from past suffering, to identify restorative coping strategies, and to achieve personal expansion. Asking for help isn’t always easy. You have already taken the courageous step on your path to healing by identifying a need for support. I invite you to continue on this path and give me a call!

Change is a natural part of life, but that doesn't always mean it is comfortable. Transitions can include adolescence, moving into adulthood, relocation, the birth of a child, marriage, break-ups, starting a new career, empty nesting, retirement or the loss of a loved one. These events are exciting opportunities to grow, but they can also lead to stress, anxiety, depression, or abuse of drugs or alcohol. Develop the path forward in a safe, supportive, nonjudgmental space. Together we can explore ways to achieve a peaceful and fulfilled life. Change can be difficult. A commitment to try something different is the first step. My approach is supportive and strength-based. I have experience in a variety of settings including outpatient, inpatient, and IOP. I have specialized training in addiction. I understand how drug and alcohol use can affect the entire family, and often the best way to encourage a loved one into treatment is to focus on the non-using family members. I am a LCSW and a LCADC experienced in working with Children, Adolescents, Adults, Couples, and Families. I am a graduate of Vanderbilt University and received an MSW from Monmouth University. Whatever the challenge, I am passionate about helping my clients promote inner strength, build confidence, and achieve life balance.
