Are you feeling overwhelmed with challenges in navigating your life? Do you find yourself paralyzed by worry and not sure what way to turn? I specialize in working with individuals, especially first responders and executives, struggling with anxiety, burnout, and moral injury. I also specialize in working with clients navigating the challenges of infertility issues, perinatal loss, family planning, or perinatal/postpartum anxiety and mood disorders. Additionally, I provide coaching support to caregivers using Family Based Treatment for a child with an eating disorder. As noted by my practice name, Holding Space, I am here to be fully present and open as we navigate how to meet your unique needs and develop a healthy and positive sense of self. My goal will be to create a solid therapeutic relationship by providing an empathic, open, direct, and nonjudgmental environment with bits of humor mixed in when we can. Not only will you be able to talk about what's bothering you, but I can help you learn practical tools and internal perspective with cognitive oriented evidence-based approaches such as ACT, CBT, SBFT, and CPT. I have been trained in Perinatal Anxiety and Mood Disorders by Post Partum Support International. Licensed in DE. FL, ID, ME, NM, SC, UT, VA, VT, WV.

I earned my graduate degree in counseling and a post-masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. My commitment to the field of therapy is evident in my pursuits to advance my education and bringing quality therapy to people like you. I am currently a Marriage and Family doctoral candidate researching mental heath and well-being. My goal is to promote overall well-being and self-acceptance. As a therapist, I strive to help my clients navigate the complex and personal aspects of their lives so they can enhance their quality of life. I help adolescents and overwhelmed adults process complex trauma using brain-body therapies. Complex trauma refers to "little t" traumas that compound throughout our life- from difficult childhood experiences, to stressful life events, to relationship difficulties. Through my practice I utilize Brainspotting (a form of eye movement therapy that targets traumatic memories stored in the limbic system), Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills to help clients develop coping strategies and emotional regulation. View 3 Photos My approach is gentle yet effective. I strive to create a safe and nonjudgmental space for clients to feel empowered to tell their stories and begin healing from trauma that has held them back. By working through complex trauma, my clients report improvements in mood, self-esteem, and relationships, as well as a renewed sense of hope and possibility. All services are offered both virtually and in-person in my Matawan office. I have been in private practice since 2019 and am licensed in NJ, CO, FL, VA, and MD. One rule that I live by is that I would never ask a client to do something that I am not willing to do myself.
