My work with clients is strongly based on developing a connection that allows us to work together to resolve the concerns that you are seeking assistance for. I encourage and support my clients in taking an active role in reaching their personal goals and learning new techniques to achieve these goals. Through this partnership, clients are encouraged to explore thoughts, fears, and options in a safe environment. I work with adolescents and adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, family and relationship conflicts, low academic performance, trauma, and social skills issues, and performance. I am trained in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) techniques, Family Systems theory, Cognitive-Behavioral Tech., & Solution-Focused Therapy. Coping with the roller coaster of life can be difficult individually and as a family. As a mother of two, I understand the daily stressors of parenting and strive to provide support to effectively manage emotional and behavioral concerns while taking care of yourself. Finding a therapist you can connect with is the first courageous step.
