I specialize in providing individually tailored, evidence-based psychotherapy with a focus on increasing self-understanding - the way one makes sense of their own history, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors - and the examination of how and why individuals often engage in distressing or ineffective behaviors. I assist patients in improving their awareness of these patterns, and in the process make changes to allow for a richer and more meaningful life. I am currently licensed as a psychologist in the states of New York and New Jersey. I work with individuals from adolescence throughout the adult lifespan, and treat a range of presenting concerns. I hold a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and have recently completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Clinical Psychology at New York-Presbyterian Hospital - Weill Cornell Medical Center. I am a member of a large group practice comprised of a number of expert mental health professionals with highly varied specializations. As such, if we are unable to work together for whatever reason, I will be able to facilitate a rapid referral to an appropriate colleague.

Accepting New Clients ! I promote inclusivity of all races, genders, sexual orientations, and spiritual practices. I prioritize your comfort. I create a safe, welcoming, and caring environment and understand the vulnerability involved in processing difficult emotions. Finding a balance between exploring deep emotional work and equipping clients with practical skills for tangible change is at the core of my therapeutic philosophy. Many clients uncover relationship patterns and aim to create lasting connections. If curiosity motivates you, we'll work well together. I prioritize understanding my clients' unique needs for change. With a commitment to staying informed on research during my PhD studies, I draw from various modalities. My integrative approach considers thoughts, feelings, behavior, neurobiology, and the body for holistic healing. I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). My personal style is down to earth and sincere. While approaching our sessions with care, I also embrace lightheartedness and an appreciation of humor. My clients often describe me as authentic, intelligent, emotionally attuned, and warm in nature.
