I help children in conflict, struggling couples, unhappy families, and adults who are motivated to change. Call me for a free phone consultation or to set up an appointment. Anger, anxiety, depression, grief, parenting concerns, marital discord, bullying and harassment, behavioral disorders, substance abuse, school or job avoidance, and issues specific to children and adults with developmental disabilities are all problems we can work on successfully together . I have 25 years of school experience working with children, backed by twelve years of clinical experience in Sussex County assisting children and adults in improving their lives. I work well with children and adults, including those with developmental disorders such as Asperger's/high functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Disorder, and other unique perspectives. Medication management services are available through our Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for clients ages 13 and up. I have an excellent working relationship and reputation with Sussex County schools and the criminal justice system. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Approved Clinical Supervisor. I strongly believe that we can all be encouraged to dive deeper and to look within ourselves to seek the answers to put in motion much needed change. Often times these messages may be difficult, but soaring over hurdles and obstacles is how we grow most. My goal is to empower you to make changes for YOUR life! I have worked with many different mental health concerns including but not limited to depression, anxiety, OCD, self esteem, relationships, and substance abuse. My specialty is adolescent and young adults. My approach to counseling is eclectic and client centered. I believe it is important to meet you where you are at and guide you to your goals. Seeking counseling can be difficult and overwhelming at times. My approach is friendly, empathetic, collaborative and I promise to provide you with a nonjudgmental, safe, and empowering space for us to work in. I love helping others and I think it shows in my sessions!
