I'm a psychologist who is able to treat a variety of issues, including binge eating, emotional eating, eating disorders, anxiety, and depression. I also work with related difficulties, including uncontrollable emotions, weight loss, and trauma. I've published research in these areas, and as a professor have trained future researchers and clinicians in them as well. All treatments I use are based on strong research to support their effectiveness - including cognitive-behavioral therapies, acceptance and mindfulness-based treatment, dialectical behavior therapy, and exposure therapy. My practice is intentionally small, so I can provide the best care possible to every client. As such, I respond to all e-mails and calls within one business day (usually same day). I am a member of PsyPact, and do teletherapy in most states. I am directly licensed in UT and OK. I only work with adults ages 18 and older. I know it can be hard to believe that things can change, to reach out, and to ask for help - especially if your symptoms have been present for a long time. There is hope that you can live the life you want without suffering. We can work together to get you there. Please e-mail for a free consultation.
