I believe that it is important to meet people where they are at in the present moment. We all come from different backgrounds and have different experiences that make us who we are, I work in the first few sessions to really learn about you and how I can best be of help. I work with people from all different walks of life. All are welcome. One of the main things that I believe and work diligently to instill in my practice is self-compassion, learning how to be kind to ourselves when we are going through challenging times. I use a variety of approaches and work to individualize a plan based on each client. I take a trauma-informed approach and pull from many different therapeutic models creating a treatment plan that is specifically catered to you. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!

Hi there. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and co-founder at Calm Mind Therapy. I love helping clients become the best versions of themselves. I work with all clients, but I specialize in working with families and adolescents. I know how difficult it can be when a member of your family is struggling. It is my goal to support individuals in the family, as well as the whole family system, to get to a healthier place. I view all my client's through a trauma-informed lens. I take a validating and supportive approach with all my clients — and also love to challenge them to make change. I have a Bachelor degree in Psychology from Lafayette College and a Master degree in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. I am trained in Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy, Attachment-Based Family Therapy, Trauma Art Narrative Therapy, and EMDR. I also pull from CBT, DBT, Art Therapy, and other experiential modalities. I'd love to start working with you, your child, or your family today!

You may be the person others turn to for support, or you excel at perceiving other people's feelings. These are strengths, but can take a toll on your well-being over time if your own needs are neglected. Whether you are hoping to feel calmer and more alive, navigate a big change, or resolve a painful situation, therapy can help. I specialize in treating people who are living with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, caregiving stress, or medical illness. I help people heal from past difficulties and increase feelings of contentment, creativity, connection, and sense of fulfillment in their lives. I am a psychologist based in Pennsylvania, working with people in the Philadelphia region and throughout the state. I am also credentialed through the national PSYPACT program, enabling me to work with residents of over 30 U.S. states and territories. My approach to therapy is collaborative, warm, and tailored to fit your unique strengths and goals. It's important to find a therapist who earns your trust and works hard to understand you. I would be glad to talk with you about your next steps toward feeling better.
