Telehealth only - now accepting Aetna! Struggling is a normal part of life, but it's definitely harder when we do it alone. Counseling with me will focus on looking at the bigger picture - meaning, purpose, and authenticity - while helping you build more sustainable habits. With every client, I work to create a unique relationship where you can feel safe to laugh, cry, or have any emotion on the wide, beautiful spectrum of human experience. By working with the whole You instead of just symptoms, you can find a greater sense of purpose and peace. My specialization is in addiction counseling, with the lens that addiction is often the louder problem masking the real problem. In our work, we will look beyond the drinking, depression, anxiety, or strained relationships to what your core self is asking for. When we clear out the noise, the truth of who you are can have space to come to the surface. I strive to provide services from a culturally humble lens and am dedicated to enacting principles of feminism, antiracism, sex and body positivity, and gender expansiveness in practice. Answering the big and small questions of life can be equally challenging and fun, and I would be honored to walk beside you on your path home to yourself.

Our team at Strength & Ease Psychotherapy offers couple and individual therapy for folks living in Virginia and DC. Clients may have unresolved relationship conflicts, needing reconnection and healing or support with feelings like anxiety, sadness, or resentment. They may also be seeking help with infertility, birth loss or trauma, postpartum depression or anxiety, parenting issues, grief, or complicated childhood experiences that impact their current relationship. We work together to close the gaps of disconnection and bring you closer, repairing the ruptures you have with less pain and more vulnerability and safety. We specialize in Emotionally Focused Therapy. EFT understands that primary childhood relationships or other early wounds inform how we move in the world and how we learned to cope when we feel disconnected from those most important to us. EFT works to help you send clear, vulnerable messages to your partner, which strengthen your bond. We consider it an honor to come alongside of clients as they build strength in vulnerability, trauma recovery, relationship stability, and trust.
