I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Washington, with over 15 years of experience working in mental health. I have practiced using telehealth since 2016 and love the intersect between technology and mental health. I love working with individuals who want to change how they interact with the world around them. I work best with those suffering from anxiety, depression, life issues, and other mood disorders. I believe in using a person-centered, strengths-based approach to see everyone as an individual. I combine my extensive outdoor and experiential learning experience with mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to develop a individualized treatment plan for you. I believe in using humor, and seeing everyone as an individual. I respect your way of living and what makes you unique. I am excited to hear your story.

Hello! I believe that healing begins with a strong and trusting professional relationship between the counselor and client and that the client is the expert on what wellness looks like for them. Through this foundation, change is achieved by increasing insight and identifying patterns from adverse childhood experiences to help alleviate my client’s suffering. Understanding my client's unique strengths helps to establish and achieve goals to foster positive change and lessen the impact of emotional pain that often results from trauma. I believe in the uniqueness of every client and I emphasize the importance of approaching each client with cultural sensitivity. I offer unconditional empathy to create a safe space for clients to confront the underlying issues negatively impacting their lives and I tailor the approach used to best help each individual. Accepting new clients! I look forward to the privilege of walking alongside your healing journey with you and helping you live a happier, healthier future.

If you or someone close to you has lost a loved one to death, sickness, or the ending of a relationship, you know how difficult it can be to readjust to life without them. I know on both a personal and professional level how difficult, confusing, scary, and lonely these changes can be. My hope in working with people through therapy is to provide a safe place to process loss while acknowledging the impact loss has on individuals and families. I find it an honor to work with those who are looking for ways to "move forward" without "moving on". I have experience counseling individuals, couples, and families who are working through a number of life issues including the following: adjustment, anxiety, depression, and restructuring of relationships. In addition, I provide Premarital and Marital Therapy for couples. I enjoy helping couples and families prepare for their futures, navigate through life adjustments, and explore both strength and growth areas in their relationships.

I endeavor to create a safe and confidential therapeutic environment in which to partner with clients to work through the hurts, trials, and challenges life brings. My background includes nearly two decades of work in pastoral and counseling settings—experience that grounds my approach to counseling and my anthropological conviction that each and every person matters and is imbued with dignity and value. For clients, this means they can count on a caring and empathetic partnership approach to therapy that creates space to process and better understand life’s trials and challenges. Clients can count on receiving acceptance, respect, and compassion while in pursuit of greater hope, purpose, meaning, and growth, among other client goals. My therapeutic approach is eclectic, drawing from several different therapeutic modalities, and includes working with each client to really understand their values, worldview, and story. Accepting new clients! Reach out today to begin your healing journey.

I specialize in working with Bipolar Disorder, more specifically managing this diagnosis on a daily basis and establishing healthy routines that help clients feel more confident as they work towards their life goals. I have experience working with anxiety disorders, substance abuse issues, and addressing severe childhood trauma. I use EMDR, CBT, and Mindfulness often in my therapy practice to help clients slow down and manage their emotions better. I try to challenge clients to understand their roadblocks in life and the best ways to move past these and become their authentic selves. My ideal client has nothing to do with their issues, but it is important that they have the desire to understand themselves better and want to commit to moving towards the goals that are important to them in life. It takes courage to ask for help. Life seems to throw us one challenge after another, and we can feel weighed down by the stress of daily living. I am here to work with your individual needs and goals. I value you as an individual and want to understand your unique experiences.
