Hello! I graduated from art school and pursued my master's degree in systems psychology, with training in EMDR, ketamine-assisted therapy, and shamanic work. I draw from a diverse set of modalities, including mindfulness and somatic-based work and spiritual practices, as well as insight-oriented talk therapy and compassionate support.

SCS employs 6 full-time associate therapists, and currently is home to 5 clinical interns working on their required therapy hours for graduation. We work with individuals, couples, families, and adolescents dealing with difficult relationships, anxiety/depression, stress, trauma, internalized "isms", self-esteem and self-compassion difficulties, LGBTQIA topics of all sorts, life transitions, career issues, and issues impacting sexuality, and more. Our clinicians are sex positive, LGBTQ supportive, poly/kink knowledgable, practice from a HAES perspective, and receive ongoing training on areas of treatment that support marginalized clients. Our services are broken up into 3 tiers: Low cost, sliding scale therapy with our 5 clinical interns ($60-$75/session, sliding scale, not covered by insurance) Insurance covered treatment with our 6 associate level therapists ($130/session, in-network with Premera plans) Private pay sex therapy with our certified sex therapist ($170/session, in-network with Lyra EAP) Telehealth: We are fully telehealth for the foreseeable future in an effort to keep our business costs and service costs low, and to better support our clients who are not able to travel for therapy treatment. Openings: It's our goal to be able to accommodate all incoming clients, by offering multiple levels of education, experience, and affordability. At any given time, we should have at least 2-3 openings for new therapists, within a few business days. Our providers have evening and weekend openings for maximum accessibility. Scheduling: Our providers offer online scheduling, so you can compare calendars in real time, and can set up your intake session with a few clicks. You're not required to have a consolation with many of our providers before being seen for an intake, but you can request a brief phone call to ask any questions our website does not cover.

When coming into a session with me, you can expect to be met with warmth and nonjudgment and acceptance. I take an integrative approach to counseling with an emphasis on looking at the individual from a holistic point of view. Rather than concentrating on dysfunction, I strive to help people fulfill their potential and maximize their well-being. The therapeutic relationship I create with my clients is the most important part of this process, I collaborate with my clients throughout to find the most effective evidence-based treatments and create a personalized experience towards what wellness means for you. My areas of special training and expertise include gender and sexuality, identity formation, relationship issues, and stigma. Specifically, working with those belonging to stigmatized groups, sex workers, artists, survivors of trauma, abuse, sex trafficking, and those in recovery from alcohol and drugs.

We live in an overly stimulated world even while hiding from a virus, with constant choices regarding how we spend our time and energy and procure our needs. The amount of content we engage with daily has most people overloaded and unfocused. Which means, most of the time, we are not truly listened to or seen. For some, stepping into therapy is the first time they have experienced being heard and seen, wholly, genuinely, and comprehensively. The initial experience of being heard, can have a profound effect on one’s life. That is where we will begin. In a space with presence, non-judgmental empathic listening, and acceptance. As a queer, creative, polyamorous, and ethnic therapist, with a multi-year former career in the major label sector of the music industry in Los Angeles & Nashville, my work often uncovers the creative expressive, dynamic soul, as well as identity exploration, connection, intimacy, and sexuality. For couples, I work with polyamory, non-monogamy and monogamy. Depth psychology, the psychospiritual, Buddhist & Sufi philosophy, Persian Mysticism, Nonviolence, art, film, music, the ebb & flow of the ocean, the lush forest, and the many different cultures and colors of human spirit inspire me creatively, spirituality, and poetically. Being the Californian I am, I often use the ocean & surfing as metaphors for healing.
