Recent Updates From Alissa Silverstein
Last updated | Tuesday February 18, 2025

I work with folks who are experiencing a range of challenges, including identity and relationship conflicts, anxiety, depression, addiction, and trauma. My practice is sex positive and affirming to folks in queer, kink, non-monogamy, and sex work communities. I welcome clients of all races and racial identities, countries of origin, gender identities, sexual orientations, religions, abilities, and body sizes.
I'm particularly familiar with feelings of “otherness” - disconnection from society at large, loved ones, and self. I offer psychotherapy sessions as safe spaces where I help my clients confront these feelings and work to understand themselves, their worlds and their behaviors better.
I approach treatment with an appreciation for the diverse range of identities and worldviews held by my clients, and make room for their full expression during sessions. I am attuned to questions regarding gender and sexuality and invite clients who are in the process of exploring these and other parts of self.
