Recent Updates From Richard F.
Last updated | Monday February 17, 2025

Anxious during these uncertain times, try some simple tips to take back your life. Breathe. Sit upright, feet flat on the floor, inhale to a count of 4, exhale to a count of 4, repeat for a couple minutes. Write down all that worries you. Pick the top 3. Write out possible solutions, even bad ones. Identify the most practical and how you would do it. Get negative thoughts out of your head. Manage your anger. Breathe. Identify what’s frustrating. What you can do about it? Some things just have to run their own course. Move around. Do something different. Go into another room, do something else.
Avoid doom and gloom. Limit your exposure to worrisome news. Find some humor. Avoid anxious eating or using substances. Move your body. If you're able, go for a walk Find 3 things you are grateful for. Reach out to someone you haven't heard from. Be aware of others. Try being the best self you want to be.
Now is the time to take care of yourself. Use this time for yourself. Get a good night’s rest. Focus on what you have. Give what you can. Be grateful. If you want more ways to help yourself, call Dr. Lazur or another therapist. You are not alone.
