Profile

I specialize in the treatment of adolescents and adults struggling with eating disorders, body image dissatisfaction, pregnancy/infertility, postpartum concerns, transition to parenthood, trauma, relationship problems, identity concerns, depression and anxiety. Through psychotherapy, I will get to know you and the issues you would like my support and guidance to work through. Beginning psychotherapy can be a difficult and scary process and we will develop a safe, supportive, and trusting relationship in order to do this meaningful and challenging work.
I completed four years of psychoanalytic psychotherapy training at Wright Institute Los Angeles and the New Center for Psychoanalysis. I hold a Certificate in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders from Postpartum Support International, am trained in EMDR Therapy, and have done extensive research and clinical training in the treatment of eating disorders.
I am interested in helping you face your current struggles with healthier coping skills and a deeper understanding of how your unique history affects your life today. I approach each person with nonjudgmental curiosity and will help you to develop this curiosity about yourself as well.
