Recent Updates From Emily B.
Last updated | Tuesday February 18, 2025

A person's trajectory in life can be offset by stress, strain and compromises. Therapy can re-orient a person to their core needs and strivings, allowing them to become more effective and engaged at work, home, and in relationships. Imagining positive change for yourself is an important step and yet taking that step can be challenging. "The best time to plant a tree was yesterday; The second best time is now." I look forward to hearing about what's happening in your life now.
I work with patients who come for help with relationship problems, symptoms of anxiety and depression, as well as those with interpersonal trauma from relationships with family or partners. I aim to bring awareness to interpersonal and behavior patterns while identifying actions that can be taken to bring about positive change.
I offer a collaborative, safe, and respectful environment where conversations unfold at their own pace. It is important that a person trusts the therapist who they work with and is able to discuss their problems openly. The right "fit" between therapist and patient can be determined best after an initial consultation.
